General guidance
- Marea products are recreational — not lifesaving devices.
- Adult supervision is required for anyone under 18.
- Basic swimming ability is required for all riders.
- A Coast Guard-approved personal flotation device is strongly recommended.
Electric products
- Charge indoors, on a hard, dry surface.
- Never open the battery housing.
- Follow the maximum rider weight on each product page.
- Never operate under the influence of alcohol.
- Automatic shutoff activates on grip release or capsize — always test before your first ride.
Local regulations
Motorized water products may be regulated in your area. It is the rider's responsibility to comply with local laws.
